Since 1975

      Galerie Claude Lafitte has been promoting contemporary art with exhibitions in Canada and in other countries for more than forty years. Founded in 1975 by Mr. and Mrs. Lafitte, Galerie Claude Lafitte specializes in 20th century high end quality works of art by Canadians such as Barbeau, Borduas, Carr, Cullen, Dallaire, Fortin, Gagnon, Hurtubise, Krieghoff, Lemieux, Letendre, Lyman, McEwen, Molinari, Morrice, Pellan, Pilot, Riopelle, Robinson, Thomson, Tousignant, Suzor-Côté, the Group of Seven; as well as internationally renowed artists such as Chagall, Léger, Marini, Miro, Moore, Motherwell, Picasso and Renoir.

Claude Lafitte, alongside Hibou-pelle, a Jean-Paul Riopelle sculpture, donation from the Lafitte Gallery to the Fine Arts Museum of Montreal.


For the first time in Eastern Townships and to end his Canada-wide tour, the Claude Lafitte Gallery will hold an exhibition for the sale of renown artists Paul-Émile Borduas, Jean-Paul Lemieux, Marc-Aurèle Fortin, Jean-Paul Riopelle and M.A. de Foy Suzor-Côté. In Sherbrooke city on the 15th, 16th and 17th of December.
At the same time, collectors will be able to have their Canadian Masters works verbally evaluated, by Madame Anaïs Girardot, appraiser, and Claude Lafitte, expert consultant.
December 15th from 11am to 5pm - December 16th and 17th from 11am to 7pm
